According to the 2019 actuarial report on the labor insurance fund, “If the labor insurance is not reformed, it will go bankrupt in 2026!” Once the labor insurance goes bankrupt, it will affect more than 10 million insured people nationwide. The 1.5 million retired workers who currently receive labor insurance pensions will suddenly lose their economic security, and the consequences are unimaginable.

What’s scary is that the government has completely avoided discussing labor insurance reform so far and only wants to use tax-funded subsidies to cover up the problem. However, the funds allocated each year are only a drop in the bucket compared to the hidden debt black hole of the labor insurance, which cannot prevent the bankruptcy of the labor insurance.

How should labor insurance be reformed to avoid bankruptcy? What should the government do to ensure that labor friends receive their retirement pensions? Let’s all pay attention to this important issue that affects our future retirement pensions.
